Guelph will resume her spring racing carnival campaign when she runs in the 2013 Furious Stakes in Sydney.
The newly three-year-old filly wil be having her first race start wince winning the Group 1 Champagne Stakes at Randwick on April 27, 2013.
Trainer Peter Snowden is happy with Guelph’s progress since returning to work following her winter spell.
“She has done really well, she looks fantastic and her attitude is really good,” Snowden told RSN.
“She has taken no ill effects from a fairly long two-year-old preparation.
“I was always mindful of that and I always made sure that I gave her time off between runs and didn’t overtax her.”
Guelph’s main aim of the spring racing carnival will be the Group 1 Thousand Guineas on Wednesday October 16, 2013.
The Exceed And Excel filly has won four of her seven race starts and has earned close to $900,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.
