I Am A Star will carry winning form into the Group 2 feature and remains outright $5 favourite in 2016 Furious Stakes betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Posting three wins from only four career starts so far, I Am A Star returned to the paddock after taking out the Group 3 National Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville on May 21st.

Trialling well in the lead-up to her competitive return, the I Am Invincible filly produced a smart turn of foot to take out the Group 3 Quezette Stakes (1100m) first-up on August 13th and should prove tough to beat in the Furious Stakes from the ideal barrier 2.

Awoke has so-far received the greatest share of attention in 2016 Furious Stakes betting markets; cutting in from a quote of $7.50 to currently figure as tied $6.50 second-favourite and clear market mover.

Yet to taste anything but success through her short but impressive racing career so far, Awoke debuted to racing for success in the Fin Aluminium Maiden (1150m) before repeating the dose in the TAB.com.au 2.y.o Handicap (1400m) on July 2nd.

Having trialled well in the lead-up to her competitive return, the Rip Van Winkle filly has been confirmed to be partnered by Brenton Avdulla.

Global Glamour has also continued to receive steady support and remains tied on the second line of Furious Stakes betting with Awoke.

Global Glamour has only made one appearance at the races competitively, but more than stamped herself as one to watch with a dominant performance for a near-seven length win in the ITC Corporate Members Maiden (1000m) on January 30th.

Trialling well amongst smart company through recent weeks, the daughter of Star Witness will leave from the central barrier 7 on Saturday with notable hoop Tommy Berry in the saddle.

Honesty Prevails ($8), Foxplay ($8.50) and My Country ($8.50) interestingly figure as the only other runners currently available at 2016 Furious Stakes odds of less-than $10.
